MAJLIS CUKUR RAMBUT

9th August- National Day to all Patriotic Singaporeans. Not for me. Me & Wife had a 'Majlis Cukur Rambut' for our little Aiman. Yes he is 2 mths old.

So the big event was held at my mum's place at Hougang. Abt 200 guests were invited. As usual me & wife looked into every detail as to save as much as possible for the event. We went over to Hougang the day b4 as we had some things to do there- 'Rebus telur, masak air gula, kemas mengemas, etc'

Yan came over to stay the night for the event. How sweet of him to volunteer.. Maklumlah! Nak score point!!! That was what Mamu Ali said.. Mamu & Mami came over later in the night to lepak & help out in anyway they can.

Just after midnight, we decided to arrange the tables & chairs plus put up the skirting. Finished all that by 1 am. So we decided to call a night as we had a big event the next day.

I got up quite early the next morning. Had some little things to do b4 the event. At 9am, we went to get the food at Pasir Ris. Everything was ready by 1030 am. So it began.... Jeng..Jeng..Jeng....

The Marhaban people came on time at 1030 am. An hour later I had to carry Aiman around for these Pakciks to shave his litle head. Thank God Aiman was not moving around too much.. Phew!!!

The guests started coming in at abt 1 pm. By 2 pm there was a slight congestion on the 2nd floor of my mum's place. Good crowd turnout I must say. The food was constantly monitored by our ever reliable Mamu Ali with the help of my Bro Ijan & Yan. Thanks guys for taking care of that.

The whole event ended at abt 6 pm. All the food did not go to waste nothing was left at the end of the day. I guess the food was good.. Apa boleh buat... Sedap & cheap... Cleaning up was done promptly. Mamu Ali & wife, the home boyz, my Brothers & me. Wife's busy with the little one.

All in all the event would go down as one of the important things that happen in my life. Another success in the chapter of Tina & Saiful's life. Thanks to all who have made it possible.
